Council of Dadz
Salford Dadz - Little Hulton is managed by a group of local fathers but we didn't really like referring to ourselves as "the committee" so we decided to call it the "Council of Dadz". Below you can see a little bit of information about some of the existing members of the council. All members of the council of dadz are signatories to our constitution and it is their job to ensure that we carry out our work in accordance to this.
Steve Mortlock - Chair

Steve has been involved with Salford Dadz - Little Hulton since the very beginning and is currently our chairperson. Steve has lived in Little Hulton for over 17 years and is married with three children, one girl and two boys. He also has two grown up daughters from his first marriage. Steve was a senior manager with a global company until 2009 when he made redundant during the recession, despite some short term contracts he has found it very hard to get back into work.
Alex McCraw​

Alex has been involved with Salford Dadz - Little Hulton for a couple of years and found benefit from his involvement. Alex is 41 years of age and has three children, he's lived in Little Hulton for the last eight years after living in Scotland. Alex has also become involved with a group based in London called Expert Link where he uses his experience of homelessness to help others
Alan Cavanagh - Treasurer

Alan is a an all round good egg who has lived in Little Hulton for all of his life. He is currently our Treasurer. Alan lives with his wife and four children. Alan is also involved with the community cinema which is run at St Paul Peel Church Hall and takes a keen interest in amateur dramatics, although he prefers back stage and stage management work rather than actually being on stage performing.

Anthony Wright​
​
Anthony has been involved with Salford Dadz - Little Hulton for a couple of years and found benefit from his involvement. Anthony is very proud of his Welsh heritage and is orignally from Wrexham moving into Little Hulton a number of years ago. Anthony has two children living at home with him and his partner.

Mark Kilby
​
Mark has been involved with Salford Dadz -Little Hulton for​ over three years. Mark lived in Portsmouth before moving to Manchester in 2004 and then into Little Hulton in 2005. Mark has experienced homelessness as well as suffering depression during times in his life. Mark has one daughter who he see's as much as possible bringing her along to our Dadz and Kidz club whenever he can. Salford Dadz -Little Hulton has helped Mark to become more confident.
David Davies
