One of our members went along to GMP Headquarters yesterday to listen to Tony Lloyd, Interim GMP Mayor and Policing and Crime Commissioner and Jim Battle, Deputy Commissioner speak about the work that has been done during their terms. It was a great evening with both thanking the groups that were there for their input and support.
We have met with Jim Battle a few times to discuss what we are doing and how we can play a part in supporting the police. The evening included a session on what we thought had worked well, what could be improved as well as what needs to continue, this feedback will be written up and presented to the new mayor when they are elected.
